Stranahan's first-ever Bottled-in-Bond release, a tribute to Colorado's 150th and America's 250th anniversaries, made exactly the way the law intended: one distillery, one season, no shortcuts.

Distilled from 100% malted barley during a single distilling season (January to June 2015), the whiskey matured for 11 years in new American white oak barrels with a level 3 char, aged in a federally bonded warehouse in Denver. It's cut to exactly 100 proof with pristine Rocky Mountain water from Eldorado Springs, nothing added, nothing hidden.

TASTING NOTES
Nose: Candied apples, baked orchard fruit, pipe tobacco, oiled leather, hints of clove and torched sugar.
Palate: Velvety mouthfeel with rich caramel, cracked pepper, dark chocolate, molasses, charred oak spice.
Finish: Long and silky, with lingering oak, cocoa nib, and a refreshing hint of earthy spearmint.
